Paws for Peace, LLC is so excited to be able to offer tours at Barking Holler Animal Sanctuary, Inc in the Spring, once the weather gets nicer.

We have taken our humane education program to the next level by having real animals to interact with at Barking Holler.  We know that these are different times right now and everyone is looking for outdoor activities that are safe and educational- as well as fun. When you are out here with the animals, you will feel like you are a million miles away from your own lives. This animal sanctuary is the home to over 100 farm and domestic animals that are lucky to call this their forever home.  Our events are private and socially distant.  The animals love to have visitors.  If you are lucky, you might even get to tickle Beetlejuice's tummy- one of the resident pigs.

Workshops

We offer M.S.D.E. approved training workshops for preschools and daycares in Montgomery County, MD.  Many of our trainings are designed to promote empathy and kindness.  We do also offer many State Mandated trainings such as:

1. Basic Health and Safety and Breast Feeding Awareness (earn 3 COK hours)

2. Including All Children and the Americans with Disabilities Act: 3 COK hours Special Needs

See the offerings for teachers tab for a list of all of our offerings.

**Workshops can be done on Zoom      or we bring your workshop to you.

Please note:  We need a minimum      of 4 participants to run a workshop.

Events

If you are looking for an educational, fun and safe way to have a class field trip or just come for a family tour- away from the hustle and bustle of every day life- call us to set up a private visit at Barking Holler Animal Sanctuary.   You can come see pigs, cows, goats, horses, mini ponies, chickens, geese, dogs and cats.   It's the best feeling in the world to be out in nature with all the animals all around.

All events through Paws for Peace, LLC that take place at Barking Holler Animal Sanctuary provide much needed funds for the animals that call the Sanctuary their forever home.
